Formed by a dedicated group of anglers, our club provides a welcoming environment for competitive and social fishermen alike, including families and kids. We believe in building a strong community around our shared love for fishing. Members enjoy access to:

The Moreton Bay Fishing Group is a special interest group of the Moreton Bay Trailer Boat Club Inc (MBTBC), based at the Manly Harbour Boat Club (MHBC) in Manly, Queensland.

Mission statement

Social group based around fishing activities with a focus on: family and local community engagement; knowledge share via training and speakers; member participation in meetings and trips.

Apply for membership

Anyone who is either a Full or Social member of the Manly Harbour Boat Club (MHBC) can attend our monthly MBFG evening meetings and / or engage with the fishing group via our Facebook page.

We further encourage anyone interested to become a full member of the MBFG as this provides full access to all the MBFG benefits. If you're interested in joining us, complete the membership application form with a few details about you. We'll review your submission and get back to you.
